UX and CRO audit

Online store audit

Find out why some visitors don't complete their purchases and which actions will bring the biggest return. You get specific recommendations for further growth, so you can make better decisions that genuinely increase sales.

I run a full analysis of your store and point out the actions with the biggest impact on sales

When is an audit worth it?

Tracking and analytics
  • your store already sells, but its potential isn't reflected in the results,
  • ad budgets keep growing, but the number of orders or sales value isn't keeping up,
  • customers visit the store, but too often they don't complete the purchase,
  • you're not sure where and why you're losing them.

I believe every decision should be backed by data, and from experience I know that intuitive changes rarely bring the expected results.

That's why my audit shows where the real problem is and where the biggest sales growth potential lies. You get a diagnosis and priorities from me: the specific places where customers drop off and a recommendation on what to do to fix them.

What does the UX/CRO audit cover?

Find out what makes shopping in your store harder. You get a list of problems with an explanation of what is worth changing and where to start.

1. I get to know your store

  • We talk about your store's results and past activities.
  • We agree on what you want to improve and how I will measure it.

2. I check the purchase data

  • I check whether purchase data is collected correctly.
  • I find the moment customers drop off.
  • I check which visitor groups place orders less often.

3. I observe customer behavior

  • I look at how customers use the store and what they struggle with.
  • I check whether they find the information they need to decide to buy.

4. I learn what customers think

  • I talk to customer service about the problems shoppers report most often.
  • I analyze reviews and reasons for returns.
  • If needed, I ask customers in surveys what makes buying difficult.

5. I assess how easy it is to buy

  • I check whether it's easy to find a product and place an order, also on mobile.
  • I assess whether the offer is clear and includes the information needed.
  • I check whether buttons are visible and forms are easy to fill in.

6. I check how the store works

  • I check whether pages load quickly.
  • I look for bugs that make the store harder to use or block placing an order.

7. I prepare a report and a plan of changes

  • You get a description of the problems along with proposed solutions.
  • I set the order of fixes, taking into account the potential benefits and implementation cost.
  • I explain what can be fixed right away and how to test the effectiveness of the other changes.

8. We go through the results

  • At a meeting we go through the report, and I explain what I suggest changing in your store.

Intensell built my website for me, including the graphics and setting it up on the server. Working together was really pleasant and hassle-free. Great contact at every stage, quick replies and openness to feedback, which made the whole process much easier. We also had status meetings that were well prepared and to the point, and each stage of the project was approved as we went. I highly recommend working with this team! And on top of that, they are simply great to talk to – a relaxed but professional atmosphere. :)

Frequently asked questions

How long does an e-commerce audit take?
An audit usually takes 2 to 3 weeks from the moment I receive all the access I need. The time depends mainly on the size of the store, the scope of the analysis and the amount of user behavior data available.
Can I order just the audit?
Yes. The audit can be a standalone service or the start of a longer partnership. You get specific recommendations, their priorities and a consultation to go through the results.
Does an audit make sense with low traffic?
The store should generate regular sales for the data to be reliable. With lower traffic an audit still makes sense, but I rely more on analyzing the purchase path than on statistical tests. We usually decide this during the free consultation.
What exactly do I get after the audit?
A report with your store's most important problems, ordered by their impact on sales. I back each problem with data and examples from your store, add a specific recommendation and point out where to start. We go through the results together during a consultation.
Can you implement the recommended changes?
Yes. I can implement the changes myself, so you don't need to look for another contractor. We agree on the scope and schedule after going through the report.
How much does an online store audit cost?
The scope and cost of an audit are set individually, because the price depends on the size of the store and the type of problem. I give an exact quote after analyzing the store and a free consultation.
